A note to those who would like to contribute...
So, many of you know my outgoing, amazing, talented boyfriend, Chris Riehl. And those that don't would likely find him outgoing, amazing and talented if you did meet him. Of course, I am a bit biased.
Many of you may also know that the past few months have been a struggle for Chris since he has been diagnosed with cancer. His positive attitude has been inspiring and he has been a trooper through the surgery and the rough patches. But he is not quite out of the woods yet. The follow-up treatment is still lurking out there and will be the next couple of months.
With the surgery, treatment and physical strain, Chris has not really been able to work and will not be back to his "normal" self or routine for quite a bit longer. The combination of not working and medical bills (even co-pays and deductibles) has put a harsh financial strain on Chris. There are many things that insurance just doesn't cover and those things add up very quickly.
So, if you are able and would like to help, it is extremely appreciated. Even as little as $5 can help cover parking for a doctor's visit of which Chris has quite a few more.
I know times are tough for everyone right now, so it's totally understandable if it's not in your budget to help. However, if you can, I know it would take some of the stress off Chris and we would both be very, very grateful.
